Aug 24,  · One of the weakest albums in the Beatles' catalog. This release has no english counterpart; it is your typical american Capitol Beatles' lp -- eleven songs patched together from other british albums. The highlights are "What You're Doing" and "Every Little Thing 4/5().

Waxed on 5/10/65, "Bad Boy" is one of two songs slated exclusively for BEATLES VI. Paul doubles on Hohner Pianet and Ringo on tambourine. The country-flavored "I Don't Want To Spoil The Party" was written for Ringo, although John ended up double tracking the vocal. The 19th and final 9/29/64 take was used for the master/5(44).

It was the ninth album released into that market in less than one and a half years (Vee-Jay Records and United Artists Records also released one album each during that period). The LP was released in both mono and stereo versions. Beatles VI reached number one on the Billboard for six weeks, beginning on 10 July
